Pigzbe is not a bank account.

What’s the difference between a traditional bank account and Pigzbe?

A traditional bank account uses everyday money, which is sometimes called ‘FIAT’. Typically bank accounts pay interest on the balances that you hold.

Pigzbe, on the other hand, runs on Wollo, our own digital currency made designed for children and their families. The Wollo you hold in the Pigzbe app, is stored in a digital wallet.

Think of this like a normal leather wallet, but instead of holding coins, notes and cards, it holds digital money (in our case Wollo) and instead of living in your pocket lives on your phone or tablet in the Pigzbe app.

You do not receive interest on the Wollo you hold in the Pigzbe app.
